The most precious, special, priceless treasure consists of tranquillity, simplicity and the genuine sounds of silence, and if you find this Guest House, you are sure to find yourself and see many different species of birds, especially during winter time.

Enjoy the beautiful water pans stretching out where many bird species can be sighted and watch the well known S.A. Angus stud also situated on the farm!  (De Panne Angus stud is the oldest Black Angus Stud in the Western Cape.) and soak up the beautiful scenery and open spaces, while taking a ride on your bicycle!

Don’t forget that as expected on a farm, kids can safely enjoy and experience the farm life! There are chickens to keep them entertained as well as bunnies, where kids are more than welcome to enjoy and play with them!!

Kolskoot Guesthouse is very centrally located and our interesting neighbouring towns (all within an hour’s drive from Kolskoot), include Cape Town, Morreesburg, Riebeeck Valley, Hopefield, Darling and Malmesbury.

Guests can go on outings to the Cederberg Mountains, the West-Coast area, Langebaan National Park, the beautiful wine and olive farms in Riebeek Kasteel, and visit the cosy town of Darling.

But then again, the house is very secluded, if you are looking to break away...
